BANGOR DAILY NEWS (BANGOR, MAINE

Attention motorcyclists and other everyday people. Sunday, Sept. 8 the 10th annual United Bikers of Maine Toy Run will take place in Augusta.

The goal of the Toy Run is to donate toys to the Salvation Army to distribute to needy children at Christmas.

We will be leaving Bangor from the Paul Bunyan statue on Main Street at 8 a.m.

We will be traveling down Route 2 in Newport and Skowhegan, then to Waterville and on to Augusta.

If you cannot make the Toy Run but still wish to donate a toy, please drop it off at either the Brewer laundromat located in the Brewer Shopping Center (near Doug’s Shop ‘n Save) or the Norge Village at the Westgate Mall on Union Street in Bangor. I will make sure your gift goes to Augusta with us.

Thank you, and ride carefully. Joe Savoy County director United Bikers of Maine, Bangor
