Greenville meeting to reword article

GREENVILLE — A special town meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, at the Greenville Middle School multipurpose room. The meeting will be held to rewrite an article approved at the annual town meeting last June.

Residents will need to vote again to borrow $100,800 for repairs to the high school roof and $30,500 for the purchase of a new school bus. The wording in the two articles was not acceptable, according to the town’s bond counsel.
