WESTBROOK – The Husson College Braves of Bangor scored two second-half goals to rally past the Westbrook College Wildcats in men’s soccer action Wednesday.
Westbrook took a 1-0 first-half lead on a goal by Jesse Cheechin, who was assisted by Jeff Mederios.
Craig Stuber tied it for the Braves on a pass from Gary Thompson with 37:44 left in the game. Jason Hill came back 15 minutes later to convert a Matt Stelzer pass for the winning goal.
For the 3-3-1 Braves, netkeeper Mike Haggerty made 6 saves on 7 shots.
Goalie Ken Brown made 6 saves on 11 shots for the 0-2-0 Wildcats.

All the scoring for the Huskies came in the second half as Alan Violette, Mike Fish, and Jason Fontaine found the goal. Dave Kelley assisted on two of the goals and Chris Bennett on the third.
Southern Maine goalie Kevin Martin had 2 saves on 5 shots.
Brian Carr of the Monks had 6 saves on 18 shots.
EMTC 4, UM-Augusta 0
Bobby Duffy scored two goals to help lead the host Eastern Maine Technical College Eagles to a 4-0 win over the University of Maine-Augusta in men’s soccer action in Bangor Wednesday.
For the 1-1 EMTC Eagles, Mitch Spaulding had a goal and two assists while Jim Davis had a goal and an assist. Greg Kennedy had an assist. Goalie Jonathan Neal made six saves on 13 shots.
Colin Voter made four saves on 34 shots for the UMA Rebels.
