In recent weeks there have been some letters in your column about the controversy over Speedway 95. Officials there cause most of it themselves.

They make a set of rules and then don’t abide by them for all drivers.

They hire people to enforce them and officials have special meetings to override their decisions.

It’s amazing how they can let some drivers dominate in certain divisions.

It’s also amazing how certain drivers and crews can get into knock-down, drag-out fights and not be kicked out….

I’m speaking from 23 years of experience. I’ve been on both sides of the controversy.

Good luck to all drivers, crews and fans and sponsors. This has been going on for years. Just watch the paper from year to year and you’ll see different people upset with the favoritism. Debbie Harnish Winterport
