NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Indiana (Pa.) University and Skidmore Col NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Indiana (Pa.) University and Skidmore College tied for the lead Sunday after one round of the ECAC Golf Championship at the par-70 Yale Country Club here.
Indiana and Skidmore each posted a first-day total of 305 for a one-stroke lead in the tightly packed field. The University of Maine Black Bears are tied for 10th at 315.
St. John’s University is third at 306, followed by Central Connecticut 307, Maryland 308, Loyola (Pa.) 311, Princeton 311, Ramapo 312, Rhode Island 313, Maine 315, Hartford 315, Connecticut 317, Salem State 317, Binghamton 318, New Hampshire 319, Rochester 320, Rutgers 322, Bryant 322, Boston College 332.
Team scores are totaled by adding the four lowest scores from each five-man team.
The UMaine scores were Josh Chase 77, Bourke O’Brien 77, Tom DelRosso 78, Brian Lawton 83, and Jeff Wass 84.
