Fire destroys Parkman camp

PARKMAN — A small camp owned by Kenneth Warren on Crow Hill Road was destroyed by fire late Wednesday.

According to Guilford Fire Chief Michael Dexter, Warren of South Berwick, had been at the camp earlier in the day. No one was home at the time of the fire, he said.

The state Fire Marshal’s Office was called to investigate the cause of the fire, but Dexter said the fire appeared to have been electrical and started underneath the camp.

Sangerville firefighters assisted the Guilford firefighters at the scene.
