Wilber paces Warriors by Rams

Angie Wilber scored two goals to spark Nokomis of Newport to its 10th victory of the season over the Bangor High Rams in a 3-0 high school field hockey finale in Bangor Monday.

Dani Mayhew provided a goal and an assist for the 10-3-1 Warriors. Diane Cabral made 1 save on 1 shot.

Nicki Hawkes recorded 10 saves on 13 shots for 2-12-1 Bangor.

Nokomis won the JV game 2-0.

Rockland 4, Mount View 0

At Thorndike, Annie Kenney and Tonya Keller each had a goal and an assist to lead the Rockland Tigers to the seasson-ending victory over host Mount View.

Amanda Dow and Michelle Jones each scored a goal to help pace the 7-4-2 Tigers. In goal, Kali Fish and A.J. Dowling combined to make 18 saves on 18 shots.

For the 0-9-1 Mustangs, Ami Stairs made 14 saves on 18 shots.

Belfast 1, Cam-Rock 0

At Belfast, Shawna Biscone scored the only goal of the game with 9:50 left in the second half on an assist from Thea Lapierre.

LaPierre started the play off a penalty corner.

For the 9-5 Belfast Lions, Staci Smith stopped all six shots she faced.

Jennifer Frost saved 16 of 17 shots for the 2-9-3 Windjammers.

The JV game ended in a scoreless tie.
