Coffin, Eagles defeat Mustangs 4-1

THORNDIKE – Kerry Coffin scored three goals to lead the Mount Ararat Eagles of Topsham to a 4-1 schoolgirl field hockey win over the Mount View Mustangs Tuesday.

Becky Baxter added the other goal for the winners while Mung Chin made 7 saves on 8 shots.

For the 0-10-1 Mustangs, Hidie Adams scored off a Jana McQuilkkan assist and Ami Stairs had 6 saves on 10 shots.
