PVHC makes Canadian swing
The PVHC traveling squirts kept buisy this weekend by playing various teams in New Brunswick.
On Friday evening, the squirts lost to the Saint John Atoms at Gorman Arena in Saint John, 4-3. Scoring goals for Saint John was Craig Miller with two, and Wayne Steward and Daryl McLanagan each scored one. Justin Trail had two assists. For PVHC Jason Ashley picked up two, and Jared Gordon scored one. Nate Waring and Derek Damon each had two assists.
Saturday morning, the PVHC team defeated Lancaster at Belyea Arena in Saint John, 4-1. Waring, Jered Gordon, Mike Dube, and Damon each scored goals for PVHC. Craig Chittuck scored for Lancaster.
The PVHC team lost 9-4 to Quispamsis at the Quispamsis Arena in Quispamsis on Saturday afternoon. Scoring goals for Quispamsis were Matthew Savoi with three, Robert Rioux with three, Mike Hunt with two, and Jeff Vautonk. For the PVHC Squirts, Waring scored three and Derek Damon and Scott Tardiff also scored.
Sunday, PVHC lost to Kennebecasis at the Kennebecasis Arena, 5-4. Kennebecasis scorers were Colin Doucet with two, and Curtis Bodaly, Jonathan Craigwood, and Brad Doiron each picked up goals. For PVHC, Kevin Longo scored two, and Gordon and Jason Ashley each scored.
