BOSTON – The University of Maine women’s club hockey team opened its season with a split of two weekend games. Maine beat Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s varsity 5-1 Sunday after losing to Boston College’s club team 4-2 Saturday.

Amanda Moors had two goals in each game for Maine; also scoring against 0-1 MIT were Katie Climton, Zoe Harris, and Stacey Pondeau. BC’s win made it 2-0.

Nancy Allard, Michelle Yecies, and Carrie Bodman shared goalie duties for the Bears.

I know this is incomplete info, but they promised they’d have it all and call on time next time. If not, they die.
