Golden Bucks race past Lions

BUCKSPORT – Jen Wardwell and Tracy Huggins combined to score 40 points to lead the Bucksport Golden Bucks to a 79-42 schoolgirl basketball victory over the Belfast Lions here Monday night.

Wardwell tallied 22 points for the winners in their season opener while Huggins had 18.

For Belfast, Wendi Whitcomb posted 12 points.
