Warriors tip Owls in OT

MADAWASKA – Laughn Berthiaume scored four of his team-high 15 points in overtime and Casey Michaud, whose two free throws with two second left in regulation led to the extra period, added 13 points to lead the Fort Kent Warriors to a 74-68 schoolboy basketball win over Madawaska here Monday night.

Fort Kent moved to 2-0 on the season. It was the second overtime loss for 0-2 Madawaska this season.

Travis Delisle added 14 points for the winners and Aaron Berthiaume added 10 points.

Ken Daley led Madawaska with a career-high 36 points. Joey Cannan added 13 points.
