Card lifts EMTC past MCI PGs II

Jimmy Card recorded a triple-double with 29 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists to lead Eastern Maine Technical College to a 95-86 men’s basketball win over the Maine Central Institute Postgrads II in Bangor Tuesday.

Ralph Flagg added to the attack for the host Golden Eagles with 23 points. Bill Owens chipped in with 12 points and Anthony Davis netted 10.

For 3-3 MCI of Pittsfield, Matt Donovan scored 25 points, Mark Walker added 23, and Brian Apgar and John LeBlance each put in 11.
