EAST MILLINOCKET – Five Wolverines scored in double figures as Schenck downed visiting Houlton 78-66 here Thursday night to boost its schoobnoy basketball record to 5-1 for the season.

Darrick Thompson led the quintet with 18, Chris Hale had 14, Kevin Thompson 12, Jason Gagnon 11, and Mark Farmer 10.

The game’s high-point honors, however, went to Houlton’s Chad Belyea who tossed in 28 points. Dan Dahl posted 18 and Dave Yarema 14 for the 1-3 Shiretowners.

Snapper LeGassey scored 14 points to lead the 2-4 Warriors. Scott Walker and Brett Russell each scored 11. Russell added 11 rebounds.
