ELLSWORTH – Amy Sisson scored eight of her game-high 16 points in the third period to help lead the Ellsworth Eagles to a 49-35 schoolgirl basketball win over the John Bapst Crusaders here Friday night.
The Eagles, 4-1, outscored the Crusaders of Bangor 16-6 to turn a one-point halftime deficit into a nine-point lead.
Lisa Hodgdon had 14 points, including 10 in the fourth quarter, and 10 rebounds for the winners.
Angela Kearns’ 14 points and Mary Lakeman’s 12 led the 4-2 Crusaders.

Heather Stanley had seven points and a game-high 15 rebounds for the winners.
