INDIAN ISLAND – Aaron Boone had two goals and an assist as the Brewer Witches blanked Presque Isle 9-0 in ice hockey action here Friday at Sockalexis Memorial Ice Arena.

For the 5-2 Witches, Eric Witt had a goal and an assist. Matt Enman, Chad Allen, Ben Roeder, Aaron O’Donnell, Chris Munroe, and Barry Wilber each scored a goal. Jared Blank saved all 11 shots for the shutout.

Brian Grivois and Scott Bernard combined for 48 saves on 57 shots for the 0-3 Wildcats.

Brewer 12, John Bapst 1

At Indian Island Thursday, George Craig, Aaron Boone, and Chris Munroe each had a hat trick to lead Brewer to the victory.

Darren Beers, Aaron O’Donnell, and Willie Roberts each scored a goal for the Witches. Matt Blaine saved six of seven shots.

For the Crusaders, Shawn Damon scored unassisted. Steve Archer made 61 saves on 73 shots.

Bangor 19, John Bapst 0

At Sockalexis Arena on Indian Island, three Bangor players recorded hat tricks as the Rams improved to 4-3.

There were no penalties called in the contest.

Wayne Rolland, Ryan Maher and Todd Garwacki scored three goals apiece for Bangor, while Justin Iwaniszek, Buddy Syphers and Russell Moores contributed two apiece.

Steve Archer made an incredible 69 saves for the 1-3 Crusaders of Bangor. Meghan Smith had four stops for the Rams.
