As the year draws to a close, I would like to wish all the residents of Bangor and the surrounding communities hope for a successful new year. I especially want to thank Bangor’s employees for their hard work and efforts during the past year. As the year closes, we all can look back with pride in what has been accomplished.
It has not been easy — nor will it get any easier next year, yet we have improved our streets and our parks. Our citizens remain safe and secure in their homes and on our streets. The snow gets plowed and the grass gets mowed. We serve the needy as best we can with limited resources. Our future — our children — get a good education and the list of positives goes on.
We have a lot of work to do but at the same time we have a great deal to be proud of. On behalf of my family and my fellow members of the City Council we remind you all to have a safe holiday and together we can make 1992 a fantastic year! William M. Cohen Mayor, City of Bangor
