OLD TOWN – Matt Arsenault scored 32 points and added five steals and five assists to lead the undefeated Old Town Indians past Orono 68-45 in schoolboy basketball action here Thursday night.
The 6-0 Indians also got a solid effort from Scott Springer with 16 points and eight rebounds. The hosts fell behind early, trailing 11-8 after a period, but rallied to take control in the second period.
Old Town played without Steve Pooler, who is sidelined for 4-6 weeks with a broken thumb.
Orono, 5-4, was led by Jay Vetelino’s 10 points. Jamie Beaudoin scored nine.
