AUGUSTA – David Deuso, Craig Scibetta, and Kevin Besser scored 22, 20, and 19 points, respectively, to lead Johnson State to a 94-77 basketball win over the University of Maine-Augusta here Monday night.
Johnson State is now 1-6 while UMA dipped to 3-6.
Tom Roberge had 11 points for the winners, who outrebounded UMA 52-26.
Dana Brann had a game-high 31 points for the Rebels and he also hauled down 11 rebounds. Jamie Belanger had 14 points and Brian Evringham and John Suchar had 10 more apiece.
