PRESQUE ISLE — A course titled “A Manager’s Guide to Human Behavior” will be held from 6:15 to 8:45 p.m. Thursdays beginning Feb. 6, at the University of Maine at Presque Isle’s Normal Hall.

The American Management Association and UMPI will offer the course which is to meet six consecutive Thursdays. The course is designed for managers, supervisors, executives and small business owners.

Daniel Theriault, McCain Foods Inc. personnel manager, will instruct the course. Theriault will discuss motivating employees and co-workers to excel, communicating positive and negative messages, and one-to-one interaction with department employees.

The registration fee of $125 includes text and instructional materials. Class size is limited to 20 participants.
