CARIBOU — The Presque Isle Wildcats varsity cheerleaders captured the Caribou Invitational Tournament Saturday at Caribou High School.
An original choreographed performance by the cheerleaders included a 12-foot “basket-toss” of a member, twist-around extensions and a sailor roll. The 12-member vibrant squad won the “spirit” award as well.
Barbara Bartlett is the advisor, and Joleen Walton is the squad manager.
More than 400 spectators supported the 10 competing teams.
The Fort Fairfield Tigers’ cheerleaders were runners-up.
