PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Plymouth State took a six-point halftime lead and held off the University of Southern Maine in the second to take a 95-87 men’s basketball victory at Foley Gym here Thursday night.
Dave Levesque and Jay Osgood each scored 20 points for the winners. Moses Jean-Pierre added 15 points and Dave Morrissette put in 13.
Scott Trefethen paced USM with 24 points and Dan Clifford added 16. Rob Laprise contributed 14 points, Joe Cawley put in 13, and Mike Fennessey netted 12.
