HUSSON vs. THOMAS

Time, site: Monday, 5:30 p.m., at Newman Gym, Bangor.

Records: Husson 20-3, Thomas 11-8

Key players: Husson – C Stephanie Lebel (15.9 ppg), F Anne Cote (13.2 ppg), G Vicki Mazerall (10 ppg), G Darci Collins (7.3 ppg), G Kristi Wildman (7.8 ppg); Thomas – C Julie Fabian (17.3 ppg, 8.5 rpg), G Kathleen Hogan (15.2 ppg), F Stacy Hafford (13.2 ppg), F Mo McInnis (9.8 ppg), F Danielle Dupuis (7.2 ppg, 8.1 rpg)

Outlook: Thomas will be motivated for this one. The Terriers, winners in six of their last seven outings, are hovering around the bottom two spots in the race for the NAIA District 5 playoffs. An impressive showing against Husson could move them up a slot or two. Cote scored 21 vs. the University of New England on Saturday. The Terriers will have to stop the confident Cote. Husson is without second-leading scorer Michelle Hamlin (hip injury), possibly until the postseason.
