BANGOR DAILY NEWS (BANGOR, MAINE

I would like to send my heartfelt thanks to the newly unveiled Workers Compensation Group, which has been working quietly and directly for some time. News of the organization, made up of representatives from the two most essential groups in the workers’ compensation arena — employers and employees — was the first glimmer of common sense I’ve seen from any action group in this state for so long that I almost fell off my chair. Then I wanted to give each of them a sincere pat on the back. How amazing! — leaders with a true instinct for productive action and the self-sufficiency to take on a task for the sake (of) accomplishing something vital, not just to be heard or seen doing it. It is notable that there is not a medical, legal or political advocate on the panel to “affect” the process. Wise choice.

Keep up the good work! Corinne Chabot Hampden
