ELLSWORTH — David Hample, president of Maine Coast Memorial Hospital, has announced the appointment of Kathleen C. Veilleux as the hospital’s new vice president of nursing.
Veilleux, of Wilton, will assume the position on Feb. 24. She has experience in clinical care and administrative and community relations work. At present, she is responsible for emergency, EKG service and respiratory care at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington. She also is responsible for the hospital’s outpatient program, a program she developed and which serves 1,500 patients annually.
Veilleux will be replace Irma Skillings who has joined her husband in retirement.
