Maine State Chapter IAFP will hold its next meeting Wednesday, March 18, at the Riverside Inn, State Street, Bangor, next to Eastern Maine Medical Center. Registration and coffee will be at 7:45 a.m. with speaker at 8 a.m. The topic will be “Irrevocable Life Insurance Trust, Challenges and Opportunities” — recognizing the problem; ILIT as a solution; structure of an ILIT; and payment of death tax. The speaker will be M. Ray Bradford. Bradford is past president of the Maine Chapter of IAFP. He is a member of the Maine Bar Association and practices law in Bangor. He is a general practitioner with concentrations in real estate and estate planning. Continuing education credits are available.
