Museum hires publicity person

OWLS HEAD — The Owls Head Transportation Museum has a new administrative assistant, Cathy Hardy Latham, who will handle public relations, advertising and promotion, and publications.

Latham was marketing and programs coordinator for the Maine Association of Realtors in Augusta, where she coordinated the 3,000-member association’s public relations and education programs.

She was a public relations specialist for The Christie Associates of Augusta, with clients such as Bangor Savings Bank, Northeastern Forest Alliance, Holocaust Human Rights Center, Independence Plus and state agencies, including the Maine Lottery.

She is a 1973 graduate of Camden-Rockport High School and attended the University of Maine at Orono and the University of Southern Maine before joining Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Maine in 1974.
