Gratitude for Bangor

A year ago my son was a door gunner in an attack helicopter fighting in the war over Kuwait. Two weeks later he was treated to the greatest homecoming ever, by the people of Bangor — and in the middle of the night!

I don’t know if you realize what a wonderful thing you did during that time. Cpl. Mark Wheeldon, USMC, had been in Saudi Arabia for six months and was anxious to see his family again.
