WATERVILLE – Karen White drew a leadoff walk in the bottom of the sixth, advanced to third on an error, and scored the game-winning run for host Thomas College on a passed ball to give Thomas an 11-10 softball win over Bowdoin College of Brunswick here Monday.
For the 2-6 Thomas Terriers, Heather Conary singled in the fifth for the only hit. Thomas took advantage of 18 Bowdoin walks and four errors to score 11 runs.
Fran Infantine led the 3-4 Polar Bears with two singles and two RBIs. Amy Aselton had three singles and an RBI, Laura Martin doubled and singled, and Cathy Hayes hit two singles.

At Waterville, Kris Owens pitched a two-hitter, striking out six, as the Mules posted their first win after four losses.
Josette Huntress’ drove in Sherri Bossie in the fifth with what proved to be the winning run. Rebecca Apollon had a pair of triples, driving in three runs, two in the sixth to clinch the win. Bossie and Alison Lutz also doubled for Colby.
For the Huskies, 7-8, Lisa Farr had a double.
