AUGUSTA — March for Jesus will gather people of all ages, denominations, races and affiliations on Saturday, May 23, in 75 cities around the United States, and in 25 European and Asian countries.

In Maine the gathering will begin at 11 a.m. by the state Capitol, proceed down the street to the Armory, and return to the Capitol by Western Avenue. The march is not a protest, but a colorful musical celebration, and will include songs from the tape “Crown Him” by Hosanna.

The coordinator in Maine is Ted VerPlanck of East Winthrop.
