Brewer defeats Calais by 4-2

Peter Kenny scattered eight hits while striking out nine to lead Brewer to a 4-2 American Legion baseball victory over Calais at Heddericg Field in Brewer Tuesday.

The righthanded Kenny only walked two for the winners, now 6-4.

Danny Needham had a two-run single for Brewer and Brent Emerson had a run-scoring single. Sean Smith chipped in with a double.

For 4-6 Calais, Travis Oakes had three singles and an RBI. Matt Cassidy singled twice and drove in a run.
