After reading that many pharmacies are no longer going to honor paid prescription cards from state employees, I’d like to question them to see if they are no longer going to accept Medicard prescription cards also. I understand they have limits on payback, the same as doctors’ offices…

After reading that many pharmacies are no longer going to honor paid prescription cards from state employees, I’d like to question them to see if they are no longer going to accept Medicard prescription cards also. I understand they have limits on payback, the same as doctors’ offices have to accept.
The volume of Medicaid prescriptions could probably keep a store running. It seems strange in this year of Maine State Employees Association contract talks and MSEA’s health-care plans being targeted that all of a sudden these pharmacies no longer wish to honor this plan. Marcia Herlihy Milbridge
