AUBURN – Sarah Webster pitched a no-hitter, striking out 16 and walking 13, to help lead Bucksport to a 13-5 victory over Wells-Ogunquit in the first round of the Little League Softball State Tournament here Monday.

Bucksport, the District 3 champion, advances to Wednesday’s 5:45 p.m. second-round contest against the winner of Tuesday’s Augusta-Windham game. Wells-Ogunquit squares off against District 2 titlist Waldoboro on Tuesday.

In Monday’s game, Katie Wingate, Jaime Bakeman, Lacey Annis, Janet Bakeman, Kelly Downes, Katie Pelletier and Kelsey Wardwell had one hit apiece for the winners.
