ROCKLAND — SAD 5 and the United States Fidelity and Guarantee Insurance Co. have agreed to dismiss a suit filed in Knox County Superior Court.

The suit was filed by the school district when the insurance company declined coverage of $127,000 in claims suffered when a pipe burst at the Mclain School in Rockland in February 1990.

School officials were unavailable for comment or explanation Friday afternoon.
