The following cases were processed in 4th District Court at Machias Aug. 17-28, with Judge John V. Romei presiding:

Richard E. Pennell, 27, East Machias, assault, 30 days in jail, suspended, one year probation with conditions of no use or possession or alcohol, voluntary submission to random search and testing for possession or use of alcohol and must participate in an alcohol counseling program; violation of condition of release, $250, 36 hours in jail with credit for time served.

John E. McMurria, 37, Alapaha, Georgia, fugitive from justice, extradited to Georgia.

Jan S. Brown Jr., 23, Machias, leaving the scene of an accident involving property damage, $100.

Mark A. Denure, 27, East Machias, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor, $350, license suspended 90 days, 48 hours in jail.

Roxie A. Kennedy, 35, Milbridge, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor, $350, license suspended 90 days, 48 hours in jail.

CALAIS

The following cases were heard in 4th District Court at Calais during the week ending Aug. 27:

Darren Paul, 23, Perry, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor, 72 hours in jail, license suspended for 90 days, $350.

Joseph Pressley, 42, Woodland, failure to disperse, not guilty.

Buck Perkins, 22, Baring, criminal threatening, 90 days in jail, all but seven days suspended, ordered to pay restitution of $861.92, one year probation with condition of counseling to satisfaction of Department of Probation and Parole, $400; criminal mischief, 90 days in jail, all but seven days suspended, one year probation.

Patrick L. Newell, 24, Perry, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor, 48 hours in jail, license suspended for 90 days, $350.

George H. LaPrade Jr., 63, Bridgewater, Mass., operating a motor vehicle after license was suspended, $100.

Carrie A. Hawkes, 23, Charlotte, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor, license suspended for 90 days, $350.

Sidney MacArthur, 36, Bangor, harassment by telephone, not guilty.

Clifton E. Smith Sr., 61, Pleasant Point, furnishing liquor to a minor, $200.

Stephanie M. Toney, 19, Perry, illegal transportation of liquor by a minor, license suspended for 20 days.

Louie H. Nicholas, 18, Princeton, illegal transportation of liquor by a minor, license suspended for 20 days.

Andrew T. Dana, 34, Perry, taking shellfish without a license, $176.,

LaCourse, 26, North Scituate, R.I. operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor, 30 days in jail, all but 48 hours suspended, one year probation with condition of counseling to satisfaction of Department of Probation and Parole, license suspended 90 days, $350.

Wayne A. Carter, 24, Brewer, operating beyond license restriction, $200.

Regina R. Stevens, 34, Princeton, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor, 30 days in jail, all but 48 hours suspended, one year probation with condition of counseling to satisfaction of Department of Probation and Parole, license suspended 90 days, $350.

Delore M. Leonard, 48, Princeton, disorderly conduct, 15 days in jail, all suspended, one year probation with condition of no use ore possession of intoxicating liquor and no possession of dangerous weapons including, but not limited to firearms.

Patsy McAleer, 49, Calais, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor, license suspended for 90 days, $350.

Robbie L. Hayward, 20, Princeton, illegal possession of liquor by a minor, $100.

Craig C. Roderick, 20, Baileyville, illegal possession of liquor by a minor, $100.

Joel L. Demmons, 31, Calais, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor, 60 days in jail, all but seven days suspended, one year probation with condition of counseling to satisfaction of Department of Probation and Parole, license suspended for one year, $500.

Veronica Harriman, 25, Waite, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor, license suspended for 90 days, $350.

Sterling H. Chapman, 31, Princeton, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor, license suspended for 90 days, $350.

Paul Francis, 33, Perry, assault, five days in jail, all suspended, six months probation with condition of no use or possession of intoxicating liquor, $50.

Patrick N. Smith, 25, Eastport, possession of undersized clams, $200.
