ORONO – Freshman second baseman Mike Sidoti went 5-for-7, junior right fielder Glen Stupienski had four hits, and junior third baseman Justin Tomberlin had two triples and a double to lead the University of Maine to a 23-5 exhibition baseball win over the Nova Scotia-New Brunswick Canada Games team at Mahaney Diamond on Sunday.

The teams played a total of 15 innings by mutual decision.

Maine had 30 hits while batting in 13 of the 15 innings.

Stupienski and Tomberlin each drove in four runs and Tomberlin scored five times. Shawn Tobin added a two-run homer and two singles.

Jon Lindsay had a double and two singles for the Canadians and Kevin McLean had a pair of base hits.
