WENHAM, Mass. – Jenna Maconochie scored with six minutes left to give Bates College a 3-2 come-from-behind college field hockey win over the Fighting Scots of host Gordon College.
Jen Tiner scored twice as the 4-2 Bobcats of Lewiston rallied from a 2-0 deficit. Janine Henry, Kim Howland, and Maconochie added assists. Kristen Daley and Amy Brunner split the goaltending duties, combining to make eight saves on 10 shots.
Wendy Deenema and Pam Scales each scored unassisted goals for the 4-4 Fighting Scots. Erin Nice made 26 saves on 37 shots.
