PITTSFIELD — Pittsfield Police on Monday were investigating reports of two weekend break-ins.
According to Chief William Lawrence, a break-in at the Vickery School during the weekend netted thieves stamps and change. The break-in was similar to a break-in last week at the Manson Park School across town. Stamps and change also were taken in that incident.
On the Beans Corner Road, police investigated a possible break-in at a camp. Windows were broken and some damage was done to the inside of the camp and to a vehicle parked outside. Police did not know if anything was taken.
