Impressed with Faircloth

District 118 on Bangor’s East Side desperately needs new representation in the state Legislature. The Republican incumbent has been invisible to his constituents, except for his flyers at election time — he himself never comes around personally — and unresponsive to our and others’ letters and calls about any number of pressing concerns.

By contrast, Sean Faircloth, the Democratic candidate, has already impressed us in his door-to-door campaigning as highly intelligent, caring, and responsive. We urge Sean’s election. Howard P. Segal Deborah D. Rogers Bangor
