I wish to respond to the letter by David A. Richards of Foxcroft, which appeared on Nov. 9. I agree that it is regretful that a minister used the power of the pulpit to admonish a congregation on how they should vote. I want to assure Mr. Richards that the sermon he heard was a typical; most pastors did not advise their congregation on how to vote.
