I am concerned that at a time when everyone’s attention is on helping others that some businesses don’t share that concern.
Stores like Toys R Us and Sam’s Club benefit from sales during this season. A lot of people, like me, have purchased in these stores gifts for the Salvation Army to give to the less fortunate.
I understand these stores forbid the Salvation Army the privilege of putting one of their workers outside their doors in the cold with a kettle. Obviously, they don’t care about their customer’s desire to help others. … Linda Clarke Bangor
