Two of the top teams in the Eastern Maine region will meet once again in exhibition tournament play as the John Bapst Crusaders play host to the Old Town Indians on Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the John Bapst-Bangor Auditorium Holiday Classic.
The Bapst-Old Town boys game – which pits one of the top Class A boys team against one of the top Class B squads – caps a busy first day of action in the tournament.
At 1:30 p.m., the Mt. Blue of Farmington girls will face the Old Town girls while, at 3 p.m., the Mt. Blue-Old Town boys teams match up. Later on Monday, at 6 p.m., the Bapst girls will face Old Town before the Bapst-OT boys game.
On Tuesday, John Bapst will face Mt. Blue in girls and boys matchups at 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m., respectively, while at 6 p.m., the Bapst girls will face Nokomis of Newport and the 7:30 p.m., the Bapst boys face the Nokomis boys.
