Matt Arsenault of Old Town and Kristen Woodcock of Mt. Blue in Farmington were selected as the Most Valuable Players in the John Bapst/Bangor Auditorium Holiday Classic that finished up Tuesday in Bangor.
Arsenault is joined on the boys All-Tourney squad by Old Town teammates Scott Springer, Steve Pooler and Corey Madden, Ken Rassi of John Bapst and Mt. Blue’s Tyson Wehrman.
The girls All-Tournament team also included Jill DeGrasse, Shannon Field and Betsy McLaughlin of Old Town, along with Tracey Buswell and Becky Goggins of John Bapst.
Woodcock was the girls free-throw shooting champ, making 16 of 20 and then five of five in a tie-breaker to edge Old Town’s Stephanie Smith. Buswell was the 3-point champ with nine of 15.
John Bapst’s Norman Loukes earned boys foul shooting honors, making 20 of 20, while Mt. Blue’s Mike Soucie nailed 11 of 15 in the 3-point contest.
