HOULTON – Liz Nelson scored 24 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to help the Houlton Shiretowners roll past the Caribou Vikings 61-35 in schoolgirl basketball action Tuesday night.
The Shiretowners outscored the Vikings 14-4 in the second quarter after leading 13-12 after the first.
Andrea Spencer chipped in with nine points for the 6-1 winners and Jill Donato had 10 rebounds.
Anne Bernard paced 2-3 Caribou with nine points and Erin Cole-Karagory added eight.
