CARIBOU — The following cases were among those processed Dec. 30 to Jan. 19 in 1st District Court by Judge Ronald A. Daigle.

Danny Winklmann, 33, Van Buren, four charges of negotiating a worthless instrument, count I, 90 days in jail, all but 10 days suspended, probation for one year; counts II through IV, 10 days in jail on each count; illegal attachment of plates, $75; operating a motor vehicle while consuming intoxicating liquor, $50.

Douglas Simons, 41, Mars Hill, assault, 364 days in jail, all but six months suspended, probation for one year. Simons also had probation revoked on a separate charge and was sentenced to 90 days in jail, with credit for time served before his conviction. Jail sentences to be served concurrently.

John B. Bishop, 74, Presque Isle, revocation of probation, three years with the state Department of Corrections.

Charged with theft by unauthorized taking or transfer: Gary Whitmore, 19, Limestone, 48 hours in jail, restitution ordered; Theodore Williamson, 22, Presque Isle, $150, 30 days in jail, all but two days suspended, credit for time served, one year of probation, restitution ordered; Ronald Rasmussen, 22, Limestone, $100.

Charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liqour: Anthony J. Taylor, 21, Loring Air Force Base, $400, license suspended for 90 days; Mark W. Brewer, 27, New Sweden, $300, 48 hours in jail, license suspended for 90 days.

Wally S. Babbidge, 34, Stockholm, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor, $300, 48 hours in jail, license suspended for 90 days; operating an unregistered motor vehicle, $60.

Arsene D. Brissette, 45, Caribou, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor, $300, 48 hours in jail, license suspended for 90 days; making a false public alarm or report, $200.

Katrina Frank, 29, Caribou, assault, $100, all but $60 suspended; criminal mischief, $100, all but $60 suspended.

Walter C. Burlock, 28, Caribou, assault, 48 hours in jail.

Charles A. Collins, 18, Caribou, passing a stopped school bus with light flashing, $250.

Jeffrey C. Hamlin, 24, Caribou, operating a motor vehicle after license suspension, $100.

Ron G. Ouellette, 20, Stockholm, illegal possession of liquor by a minor, $100.

Kimberly Papagno, 20, Loring Air Force Base, violation of learner’s permit, $100, license suspended for 60 days.

Tim Sifford, 23, Raleigh, N.C., criminal threatening, $500.
