WATERVILLE – David Zazzaro, former assisant coach for the State University of New York at Potsdam, has been named head coach of varsity lacrosse at Colby College.
Zazzaro, a 1991 graduate of Drew University, was an assistant in both soccer and lacrosse at Potsdam State. He participated in the North-South All-Star lacrosse game in Div. II in ’91 and was a four-year starter in both lacrosse and soccer.
He will replace Charlie Corey who resigned last spring to return to his position at Lawrence Academy in Massachusetts. Colby has been in ECAC postseason play for the past two seasons and has compiled a 31-10 mark in that span.
