Frist, let me say I enjoyed Bill Cosby’s (Jan. 29) performance very much. The disappointment was with the Alfond Arena and our seats. I spent most of one morning on the phone with the ticket office trying to buy tickets as a Christmas present for my husband, son, and daughter-in-law. When I finally reached someone, I was told at least three times that we would have chairs to sit on, not on the floor, but the next level, not bleachers. Since these tickets were gifts, I especially wanted good seats. I was assured they were.

When we arrived at the Alfond we were told we had bleacher seats almost as high up as we could go. I was mad, embarrassed, and disappointed. It was too crowded and too hot with not one fan to circulate the air. The only way we could see Cosby was on the big screeen. We might as well have been home watching him on TV.

If they are going to have this kind of show at the Alfond they had better make some changes. I will never attend any function there again. Judy Eichel Brownville
