Beers has 5 goals as Brewer romps

WINSLOW – Darren Beers poured in five goals to lead the Brewer Witches to an 11-2 victory over Lawrence High at Sukee Arena here Wednesday night.

Aaron Boone and Chris Roeder scored twice each for the winners, Chris Monroe had a goal and three assists, Matt Enman a goal and both Beers and Boone assists for the 14-2 Witches.

In Brewer’s net, Joel Dolbow and Matt Blaine combined to register nine saves on 11 shots.

For the 3-13 Bulldogs from Fairfield, Seth Poulin had a goal and an assists and Ryan Pelotte a goal.

For Lawrence, Eric Hunt had 28 saves on 39 shots on goal.
