UM-Farmington routs UMA

Men’s College Basketball

AUGUSTA – Chris Bessey tossed in 21 points while Dan Legere had 18 points to lead the University of Maine-Farmington to a 108-63 victory against UM-Augusta in a men’s college basketball game Monday night.

Dan Header added 13 points while Wes Daggett had 12 and Doug Sautter 10 for the 9-13 Beavers.

For the Rebels, 5-15, Greg Chesley had 20 points and Matt Belanger had 17 points.

At Waterville, Greg Collymore and Al Zanchi each scored 12 points to lead the St. Joseph’s College Monks of Standish to the victory over host Thomas College.

For the 7-6 Monks, Steve Schuler had 11 points and Ron Lamming added 10.

Mike Gillespie had 14 for the 9-14 Terriers.
