STOCKTON SPRINGS — Silvia E. Wight has been named to the position of postmaster at Stockton Springs. The appointment was made by the Postal Service.
Wight will be installed at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, at the post office. She began her career 22 years ago as a substitute carrier in Bucksport. She has served as postmaster at Surry and Blue Hill.
